We have been up to many fun things in the last few weeks! We have been learning to code with Ozobots and students were given a design challenge to turn their first names into a code for the Ozobot to follow. They had a target rubric which they followed to ensure they were on the right track. This was so fun and we will send home the final designs so parents can take a look at them and talk about them with their child. We decorated gingerbread houses on Wednesday. They were asked to make a plan for their gingerbread house before they went ahead to decorate. Students had so much fun with this activity. In Science, we have started our unit on hot and cold temperatures. Students are learning that thermometers provide a helpful way to measure and describe the hotness and coldness of things.
